Lorenzo e le sue donne

E’ in edicola e in libreria il numero di ottobre di Firenze Informa, il mensile di storia, tradizioni e cultura che racconta come nessun altro Firenze e la Toscana.

In questo numero, il primo dopo lo speciale dell’estate, scopriremo la storia segreta di Lorenzo il Magnifico e delle “sue” donne, che tanto ne condizionarono la vita. Fu, infatti, la madre Lucrezia Tornabuoni a rendere quel suo piccolo figlio lo statista e il principe del Rinascimento, curandone la formazione e circondandolo delle migliori menti dell’epoca. E fu sempre Lucrezia a combinare il matrimonio con l’altra donna della vita di Lorenzo, quella Clarice Orsini che diventerà sua moglie, moglie che sempre rispettò, ma che mai amò veramente, perchè il suo cuore, da tanto tempo, batteva già e continuò a batter per sempre per un’altra Lucrezia…

Apriremo poi le porte dell’antico cimitero della Misericordia, un tesoro nascosto di storia e arte nel cuore di Firenze, chiuso da decenni, ma curato con dedizione dal suo ultimo custode, un confratello della Misericordia che ogni combatte una battaglia impari contro il tempo che passa e contro le intemperie.

Racconteremo poi la storia di Bartolomeo Marchionni, speziale fiorentino e mercante di schiavi nell’epoca delle scoperte geografiche.
